These are some rough sketches for a series of drawing i'm about to start. I have been promising a good friend of mine (who I hope doesn't read my blog!) some artwork for way too long now.
For me, thinking of something to draw for a guy has been a difficult task as my drawings usually end up with flowers or pretty swirly bits. I have however been really inspired by the patterns on Moorish tiles here in Spain and considering my friend comes from an Arab background, this might just be the answer!
I have a lot of work ahead of me so i'm off to get started... starting is always the hardest part!

I responded to your email ages back and it bounced back after several days so I tried again and again several days later again it bounced back... then I went away and just got caught up doing other things and forgot until now.
