Textile Pendants in the Making

This is a new batch of textile pendants that are almost finished. After a quick heat seal they will be threaded onto rubber cords and ready to wear. I just love all the colors lined up together. They will be available soon in my online shop. Why not follow me on twitter or facebook for updates?

Yesterday i finished making these funky textile necklaces. I love the bright rainbow one at the front! I really enjoy working with the different texture and combining the different components to create these wearable art pieces. Available in my etsy shop.

Vintage Fabric Scraps and Inspiration

I picked up these beautiful scraps of vintage fabric yesterday from a charity shop up the coast. I suspect someone has made some lovely quilts with the rest of this fabric! I was really inspired by the pretty florals and today i made a couple of brooches that i think reflect the vintage nature of the fabric. The two brooches i made will be in my etsy shop later this evening.
