The fantastic theme for Pips meme this week is 'My Collection'. Well i have a few collections going on! I'm already sharing pics of my button collection week by week so i thought i'd show some of my fabric collection (no, this is not even all of it and i am so glad my parents have offered to look after it for me when i go overseas!) and also a pic of my vintage glass collection... i don't smoke yet have collected several ashtrays. I love that chunky, heavy glass! :)

No doubt those ashtrays could double as weapons if need be! You could really clonk someone with one and it would be lights out, good night Irene. But no, they are too beautiful for such thngs. Instead the should sit somewhere light so that there colours glow. What a lovely collection. And your fabric looks gorgeous, it must have taken a while to collect that pile. (Yes that rhymed) xo
ReplyDeleteThose are 3 very beautiful collectiony photos indeed! Loving the glass, the pile of fabric and the tubs of stuff spiling out the tops. Have a wonderful trip.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous Glass! Also good for pin and soap dishes so you don't need to smoke to really enjoy them. Nice collections.
ReplyDeletelove your [morano] glassware and you fabric stash is to DIE for :))
ReplyDeleteYour glass collection is beautiful. I love the vibrant colours of the smoke trays.
ReplyDeleteOh. So. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteI looooooooooooooooove the glass, really, really & that fabric?! Nice. Very nice indeed.
Love the fabric and the glass is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me you are SO organised! How inspiring is that sewing space! Very. I resolve to get my act together and be more like you. I do. Those ashtrays could come in handy if you have a burglar. They would knock him right out of his balaclava, wouldn't they. But really, I love all the colours together - and i totally get the chunk factor! Ace!
ReplyDeleteI agree withy Pip- your sewing space is what I srtive for- good organising idea to use the plastic tubs.
ReplyDeleteand of course I love the coloured glass too.
I love the glass collection, the green glass is fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric photo, do you wonder sometimes if it just looks too lovely to use?!
ReplyDeleteLook at all your beautiful fabric! You are so organised and it looks so fabulous! What a collection.
