Prize Pack No.2 - Browns

Prize Pack No.3 - Reds, Oranges and Blues

Think i'm joking? Well i'm not! I finished up at work last week and i'm heading to Spain early next year. I'm really in need of a change of scenery. I'm planning to go for a year for starters but hopefully longer, depending on how things work out. Never fear, i will still be crafting and selling via my etsy shop with a burst of added inspiration! I hope you will join me in my adventures through my blog! :)
To celebrate this massive life decision, i'm having a little giveaway right here. I'm giving away the 3 prize packs shown above. Each pack is comprised of a generous stack of fun fabric scraps, a handful of vintage buttons plus one fab Shagpile item. To enter follow these 2 simple steps:
1. Leave a comment on this post. You can post whatever you like but i'd love to know where you would choose if you could live anywhere in the world!
+
2. Follow my blog OR follow me on twitter OR become a fan of my facebook page.
Entries will close at midnight November 25th 2009 and i will randomly draw the winner on the 26th. I'll email the winners and also post them on this blog. Good Luck! :)

Lovely. (pretty much reckon the red and orange pack should be mine!)
ReplyDeleteAnd guess what...it would be Spain where i would choose. I have very distant Spanish blood and I'm sure i would feel just that little bit more at home with the senors and senoritas!
Good luck with your amazing journey.
wow, what a change! that makes me quite happy, since we're going to be pratically neighbours because live in portugal.
ReplyDeletei also changed my life a year ago! quit my job and moved to another city with my baby girl and her dad and hadn't regretted it yet.
i would love to live in london, it was the first place in the world where i really felt like home and i keep coming back and loving it everytime!
i already had you on flickr, but i'm now following you on twitter, became a fan on facebook and added your blog to google reader :-)
i wish you all the best!!!
(and hope to get lucky with pack no.1 or no.3!)
Congrats on your life changing and brave decisions! I wish you the best of luck with everything, and I have to add you to my blog list now to be able to join you in your adventures! ((hugs))
ReplyDeletewow that is soo exciting ! I'm chuffed for you, I'm looking forward to following your exciting changes :D
ReplyDeleteI like you wanted a change of scenery hence the move from London to Hong Kong, after here I'd like to try USA and Canada, I hope that after a few places I'll have this 'inner realisation' of 'where is home' and head there and live a happily ever after!
I became your fan on FB btw ;)
How exciting, wouldn't mimd a change of scenery right now. I visited Boston recently and for some reason I imagined myself living there.
ReplyDeleteSomewhere exotic like Rio would be cool too as I also have some strange love for the language.
Oooh, how brave you are...and wise as well. Change is always good, though sometimes you cannot see it at first :-)
ReplyDeleteI love these packs you are giving away, so I really hope to win :-))))
Where would I move...hm. Somewhere with sea or ocean :-). If not, then Amsterdam. Or Belgium - through etsy I met some really outstanding people from that country.
wow I admire you for this decision ! If I could, I would live in Norway in the summer and in Spain in the winter .....
ReplyDeleteHey there Andrea,
ReplyDeleteWow, thats great to hear you are heading abroad. JJ Monkey is planning on doing so too in the near future, but not to our number one country chart toppers. Our favourite is Italy, having just visited there last year I was an overseas transit virgin. Jen is the complete opposite she has lived in Italy, is from the U.S and has traveled through Europe. She just whispered in my ear that Shagpile is as colourful as barcelona! Our prefered place of stay is driven by the culture, lifestyle, food and scenery. A big hug for your future. We at JJ Monkey would love any pack to transform some offcuts into a doll or two. Who knows perhaps you may find a JJ Monkey on your doorstep in Spain.

I love the brown pack.
ReplyDeleteAnd moving? I would love to move to Rome, or Istanbul, or India!
3 places I've been that I absolutely loved!
Congrats on the move! What part of Spain ya' headed to?
Bindingtwine
I'm going to be spending sometime in Australia this spring and can't wait, but If I were to move it would be to somewhere warm were I could surf year round. Right now the top pick for the boy and I is Hawaii. first off because we can surf all year long and second it is the half way point between our two families. His in Australia and mine in New York.
ReplyDeleteI would love to live in Europe, probably France (my French is better than my Italian or Spanish). Weekend getaways could include fabulous locales like Madrid or Milan because they are just a train ride away, not halfway across the globe.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you on your move. I am sure it will be an amazing experience.
I follow you on Twitter (@digitalmisfit)
It will be fun to see what inspires you in Spain and how you incorporate this into your art! Don't quit Etsy....we want to see the results!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a big move. Not sure where I'd want to live.
ReplyDeleteHave just started following you.
- I like the red bundle. :o)
¡Hazlo chica! you'll be able to post in spanglish too.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to live in Japan!
ReplyDeletedropped by to say that I've tagged you on my blog's Q&A, thanks =)
Is it corny to say that if I could live anywhere in the world it would be here - Australia...?! I love Oz... I can't even imagine living happily anywhere else - visiting sure, but not living.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that red pack, although the brown one is pretty nifty too...!
I am so excited that you made an owl for the Toy Society! Can't wait to see you're drop.
Where abouts in Sydney are you?! If you feel like an opshopping excursion, head out to Asquith - there are 3 great oppies out there in a row, and there are a couple at Hornsby too while you're out there, but the Asquith ones always used to see me piled high with good stuff. Or there is a little oppy on George St heading down towards glebe, just up from the vinnies on the corner, it's old & dark but used to have some funky stuff....
OMG! that is soooooo cool! I am sooo jealous! There's nothing like just making a decision and going for it - and knowing you'll have the most amazing time! I have little fantasies about moving to Europe - some seaside place in a big villa... an old house. A big organic garden.... and countries all around me for when i feel a little bit excited. It's so cool. You can jump on a train and be in Italy in four hours from Croatia (that's where I'm from). We are so isolated here. I'm lookinf forward to reading your adventures! and it's cool as that you'll still be around on Etsy. xoxo Kristina.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you found me and I got to see your blog. Love it! And can't resist to enter your giveaway. I love the brown pack with the cute birdie! And I wish you luck in Spain. Loved it there on my visits! I'm quite happy in the US since I came here from Germany, but wish I would be living someplace warmer than the New England Coast. Maybe later...
ReplyDeletesounds like an exciting adventure ahead.have fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to live somewhere in Europe - travelling between countries there would be so inspiring.
I really like the look of the brown goodies you are offering.
Wow! i wish you all the best with your move! i live in portugal so we'll be neighbours! weee! :) if i had to choose a city to move to i would probably choose some random little town at the countryside in ireland! :)
ReplyDeleteí'm sofia_pinto and will start following you on twitter! hope i win something! :) xo
I would love to live right where I am. Maybe in a different house, maybe in a slightly different part of the city. But right here in Portland, OR, USA. My fiance and I love it here and have no plans to move anywhere else ever. Lots of traveling, absolutely (and especially after we win the lottery!). A bigger yard, perhaps, for veggies & fruits & chickens. But I'm just fine where I am. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your colourful blog and etsy shop! Such an inspiration. And then to be living in Spain, on top of it all!
ReplyDeleteI think about my ideal place to live all the time. Somedays I dream about the giant redwood forest in northern California, other days living with friends in Marseilles. But I really love living in Canada and I'd have to say the most ideal location would be Vancouver Island - urban yet remote and the forests are beautiful - or Montreal - fast paced, French, with gorgeous architecture.
...Am I allowed to choose so many spots? haha, I guess I'm destined to be a vagabond!
oh just found you and oh - moving to spain - hoo boy! I think the idea of rotating seasonal residences appeals to me - you know snow one year - miss winter completely the next... ho hum not likely unless I go that suga daddy!http://umatji.blogspot.com/2009/10/sugar-daddy.html
ReplyDeleteI would love to live in Japan. But I like to live here in Brazil ^^
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance and good luck in your new place!

ReplyDeleteIf I could live anywhere in the world it would have to be Italy. I have never been but I love Italian people, food and buildings...I'm sure I would fall in love.
Good luck with your new adventure....must be very exciting for you!
I just found you via Punky & Me and just had to check out a fellow button addict’s blog! I am envious of your big adventure and if I could jet off to anywhere in the world it would probably be to a little village in Mexico although a village in India is a very close second. It must be hard to let go of these treasure you have acquired over the years, but if I am lucky enough to win I promise to be a good custodian and put those buttons to good use.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to following along on your adventure.
What a great adventure-- good luck to you! If I could live anywhere, it would be Paris...
ReplyDeleteWOW! ow neat, I am jealous! Have a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteHi Andria, WOW! Spain is lovely - have a great time over there.
ReplyDeleteOf anywhere in the world, I'd live in my native Portland, Oregon. Maybe not so exotic, but I miss it terribly!
Good luck to you! (I'm Lesa of lesadraws on etsy)

ReplyDeleteSpain is so beautiful, the food, the people, the colour, ahhhhhhh :)
I'd love to live in Bolivia (South America) if the government was better behaved of course. My husband is Bolivian and it's such a beautiful and diverse country.
